TIPOLISO is a community-based organization promoting education and child protection in Malawi. One of their key initiatives is Early Childhood Development (ECD), with a focus on providing quality care and education for young children. Currently, TIPOLISO operates 10 ECD centres in the SUB TA Nkapita area of Zomba District. Caregivers at these centres receive training and support from the Zomba District Council and the Firelight Foundation.
TIPOLISO is excited to announce their upcoming project, “Tiyende Pamodzi,” which aims to protect children from harm and empower them with the knowledge to safeguard themselves before, during, and after disasters. This project will be implemented through an anticipatory approach, proactively addressing potential risks and vulnerabilities. The project is generously funded by Save the Children.
By combining ECD programs with child protection initiatives, TIPOLISO is working to create a holistic approach to child development, ensuring that children in their communities have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
